Social Enterprise

Social Enterprise (Villages and Township Economies)

ZOOI applies commercial strategies to maximize improvements in the development of the Township and Villages Economies; this includes maximizing social impact alongside profits for the beneficiaries of the Social Enterprises we manage. Our strategies differentiate our social enterprises from the rest because our social mission is as core to their success as any potential profit.

We believe that Social enterprises are a new way of developing the businesses in the Township and Villages. We believe the success of any Social Enterprise business should be measured in terms of more than just its financial performance, but with how it impacts the lives of the people.

We offer Government and the Private sector Social Enterprise solutions that are innovative, unique, cost effectiveness and are specially targeted to eradicate unemployed and poverty  amongst the Youth, Women, and people with disabilities.

Small businesses and young entrepreneurs continue to benefit the most from a wealth of innovative and cutting edge business advice, training, support and mentoring programmes we offer them.

The newly-launched North West Provincial Government VTSD Economy project is breaking new ground by connecting small business managers, entrepreneurs and unemployed Youth. The financial support by the North West Government has made all the difference. Go to www.vtsdeconomy.co.za to see inspiring success stories by the Social Franchise beneficiaries on how the VTSD Economy Social franchise project is helping their businesses grow.

The project also aims to support the National Development Plan to curtail soaring poverty, unemployment and economic inequality particularly in the VTSDs, in order to accelerate radical economic transformation in the VTSD’s which is meant to change the structure, system of ownership, management and control of the economy in favor of particularly disadvantage people of the North West
